Why we are different
Moving is no small undertaking. It is a huge financial and emotional responsibility. Like all things, there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. Southern Oregon Movers has spent a long time learning how to move things the right way. With our vigilant preparation, thorough training, and a compassionate, hardworking attitude, customers can be confident that their valuables are in safe hands.
Our pricing makes life easier. Some moving companies are as bad as airlines when it comes to hiding fees and disguising costs (carry on fees, are you kidding?). That’s no fun. The time officially starts when we pick up the first piece of furniture and then you have us for as long as you need us. If/When we go over the minimum (2 hours), the time is prorated in 15 minute increments. At the end of the day, you only pay for the time we are working and you won’t believe how hard we work!
It’s simple: Your time is valuable and no one likes waiting around or having to block off huge periods of time for ridiculous time windows.That is why we keep our arrival windows at 2 hours or less and in many cases eliminate them altogether.On top of that, if we can’t make it in the time window that we arranged, our on time guarantee dictates that we immediately start discounting money off your final bill. The longer you wait the larger the discount becomes. Time is money!
We are fans of communication. Here are all the times we will stay in touch before & day of your move. Day before your move: We will call/text to confirm your move. Day of your move: We will call/text you to let you know we are in route to your location if we are in an arrival window.
Covid Precautions
As a company we are monitoring and adhering to all local, state, and Federal guidelines in order to keep our team and our customer’s safe. We have supplied each of our team members with cloth masks. If you would prefer your movers to wear masks Just let us know! GLOVES: We do not wear gloves while moving. The disposable gloves do not hold up during a move and non disposable options just provide opportunities to cross contaminate customers when moves are conducted back to back. We have found a consistent regimen of hand washing is the safest option.
